For Peyton's 2nd Birthday, we decided to have everything Dr. Seuss! I started by looking on Pintrest for inspiration, and my imagination took over from there! I would walk into Micheals and go nuts because ideas were flooding me! Haha. Alright so it wasn't that bad, but I did have a lot of fun with this party. Warning: I posted a TON of pictures. Have fun browsing! :)
I made this sign simply using Word and a picture off the internet. Next time I'm going to spend a little more time on the entrance piece!

This is the book signing table when everyone first walked in. |
Everyone signed little messages to Peyton throughout the book so he will treasure it as he grows up.
I saw one similar online and put my twist on it! I downloaded Dr. Seuss font online for free instead of paying $12 on Etsy for a pdf! Cheap Mama! :)
Fish bowl stacked on very old Dr. Seuss books. The sticker on the glass if a picture of the fish from Cat in The Hat.
The blue frame has a collage from his first birthday and the second picture is from this birthday. Itwas cute to see how much he has grown!

I made this using a mason jar, glass pebbles, styrofoam circle, felt scraps from banner and stickers. Basically everything was from Dollar Tree or I already had it! So easy but really cute! |
This has a funny story. Basically, we went through 7 fish dying after a few minutes before we had 3 to live. This all took place a few hours before the party. |
Craft table for the kids. Dr Seuss coloring pages, magnets, and lots of stickers. I got lucky and found these at Micheal's 75% off! Unfortunately, most of the kids found the two swing sets outside more entertaining. :) |
I made the banner out of felt and hot glue. So easy and for under $2! |
Vintage Dr. Seuss lunchbox I bought at an auction for $7! I love it! |
Jello, and Swedish Fish! The kids liked the individual containers. Just their size! :) |
These plates are $10 for a set of 10 at Party City, but I got 5 sets of ten for $2 each , because the top plate was cracked so I made a decorative plate with it and covered the crack with a sticker! So, 50 plates for $10 instead of $50! And they washed great in the dishwasher!!! |
The Lorax was my inspiration for these cake pops! I wanted the pops to look as close to the Truffula Trees in the book as possible, so I used the corresponding colors and found these fluffy things at Micheals on sale! I also had a pic of the Lorax poking through the trees! The kids loved these! |
As usual, this was a favorite! |
Green Eggs! I made these sugar cookies shaped like eggs and used the green cookie icing. So easy but super cute and yummy! |
I made these labels and the food labels on Word once again instead of paying someone for a PDF file. CHEAP! |
Pizza Poppers! Wonton wrappers, and pizza toppings. So simple but tasty! |
I saw these on Pintrest and HAD to make them! |
Cat in the Hat Sprite. These went so fast! I made enough for the kids because I figured the adults wouldn't touch them, but they were grabbing them up before I could snap a picture! It's just Sprite, and Kool Aid ice cubes! When the ice cubes started to melt it flavored the Sprite! |
My precious Birthday Boy! Poor thing had the cast on. |
I ordered his shirt off of Etsy. |
Mylee Jo and Rose. |
Party Favors! I had fun making these! I made the tags to go with them. In my opinion, the little details make a difference! |
I had so much fun doing Peyton's party, even though my angel couldn't walk I think he enjoyed himself!
